— Automating the Translation Process for Web Content —

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – March 04, 2013 - Clay Tablet Technologies, the leading provider of integration software to connect content management systems to translation providers and technologies, today announced the release of their latest Connector for Adobe Experience Manager. Adobe Experience Manager, part of the Adobe Marketing Cloud, includes the core capabilities of Adobe CQ for Web content management. This new Connector furnishes Adobe Experience Manager customers with advanced options for routing content to translation technologies and translation service providers, as well as a tight integration to Lionbridge’s Freeway Translation Management Portal. Clay Tablet Technologies will be demonstrating the Connector at Adobe Summit, The Digital Marketing Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah from March 5-7, Booth 216.

This latest release is in keeping with Clay Tablet’s commitment to providing translation connectivity for enterprise-class multi-lingual sites with large volumes of content requiring translation. Tens of thousands of components can be selected and sent for translation, even to multiple translation vendors, in mere minutes; with round trips for smaller volumes of content completed almost instantly.

CEO Robinson Kelly enthused, “The worldwide response to our translation solution for Adobe Experience Manager has been overwhelming. A truly enterprise-class, neutral Connector, allowing clients to work with any translation technology or firm was needed and this latest version takes the traditional Clay Tablet stability and robustness up another notch. Adding rich Freeway support allows the largest of clients to easily work with Lionbridge, one of the premier global translation firms. The best translation solution for Adobe Experience Manager just got a whole lot better.”

The Clay Tablet Connector for Adobe Experience Manager provides content editors and translation managers several easy ways to select any content in the Adobe solution to be sent for translation, including Blueprint Rollout, Sidekick and Clay Tablet’s powerful bulk translation tool, which allows the selection and sending of near limitless collections of content instantly. Clay Tablet also lets organizations select items for translation at the component level and respects regional variations that are typically created in multi-lingual site environments. The Connector provides status and reporting features that help marketing and localization teams keep track of their translations jobs so they know when items are sent for translation and when the translations have been completed.

“In this digitally connected world, enterprises and public agencies need to have a relevant, global presence,” said Loni Stark, director of product marketing, Digital Marketing, Adobe Systems Incorporated. “The latest Clay Tablet translation solution further strengthens the ability of Adobe’s customers to quickly integrate Adobe Experience Manager into localization processes to accelerate access to worldwide markets, while also making it simpler for marketers to efficiently translate content.”

The release also includes rich support for the popular translation platform from Lionbridge, Freeway.

“The Clay Tablet Connector for Adobe Experience Manager and Lionbridge’s Freeway Translation Portal work together to give clients a fast, seamlessly integrated, and fully automated process for addressing localization. This technology combined with Lionbridge’s global presence, program management and proven global marketing services enable CMOs to consistently address any market in any language,” remarked Jason Hobart, Lionbridge Vice President of Channel & Alliances.

Now that Adobe Experience Manager is integrated into Clay Tablet's Connectivity Platform, content can be sent to any translation provider or technology, including; SDL TMS, SDL WorldServer, LionBridge Freeway, Plunet Business Manager, SDL BeGlobal, GlobalSight, FTP sites and many more.
