Clay Tablet Technologies Launches Adobe CQ Connector
— Automating the Translation Process for Web Content —
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – March 20, 2012 - Clay Tablet Technologies, the leading provider of integration software to connect content management systems to translation providers and technology, today announced the immediate release of its Adobe® CQ Connector. This new Connector, which is currently in production at several early adopter sites, provides Adobe CQ customers with a proven solution to automate the language translation process. Clay Tablet Technologies will be demonstrating the Adobe CQ Connector at the Adobe Digital Marketing Summit in Salt Lake City, Utah from March 20-22.
The Adobe CQ Connector is designed to support enterprise-class, multi-lingual sites with large volumes of content requiring translation by any translation provider or technology a client wishes to use. Tens of thousands of components can be selected and sent for translation, even to multiple translation vendors, in mere minutes; with round trips for smaller volumes of content completed almost instantly.
CEO Robinson Kelly enthused, “Excitement for our new Connector has been outstanding; we are very pleased to be announcing the Adobe CQ Connector knowing how much the market needs our solution to the translation problem." Mr. Kelly continued, "We are happy to already be helping several very large Adobe customers make their translation processes more efficient." Mr. Kelly will be touting that Clay Tablet is the best way to connect your CMS to your TMS at the GALA Conference in Monaco the following week along-side Intel.
The Clay Tablet Adobe CQ Connector provides content editors and translation managers three easy ways to select any content in Adobe CQ to be sent for translation. The Clay Tablet Connector interface is imbedded in the Adobe CQ console. Users can select content in large batches using the CRX Path for a page or set of pages. Casual users can select single pages from the content editor interface by using the intuitive Sidekick integration. Clay Tablet also enables automated translation to be included as part of the blueprint rollout process using the Adobe CQ Multisite Manager capabilities.
“The Clay Tablet Connector strengthens our worldwide offering,” said Kevin Cochrane, vice president of Product Strategy and Solution Marketing, Adobe. “By enabling our customers to integrate Adobe CQ seamlessly into localization processes, clients accelerate their access to global markets while making it easier for individual users to efficiently translate content.”
Now that Adobe CQ is integrated into Clay Tablet's Connectivity Platform, content can be sent to any translation provider or technology, including SDL Trados Teamworks, SDL TMS, SDL WorldServer, LionBridge Freeway, Plunet Business Manager, SDL BeGlobal, GlobalSight, FTP sites and many more. The Clay Tablet Adobe CQ Connector is already in use at several Fortune 500 organizations
