Clay Tablet 2.0 provides a grown-up translation solution for Stokke.com
Leading Norwegian Baby furniture manufacturer launches 28-language site using Clay Tablet 2.0. Success documented in compelling Partner case study.
Toronto, Canada - Leading baby product manufacturer, Stokke has chosen Clay tablet 2.0 to ensure the fast, efficient and simple transmission of content for translation into 28 languages for their global website. Clay Tablet 2.0 now connects Stokke’s Sitecore CMS with translation vendor and Clay Tablet Technologies’ partner, Translated.net, creating a seamless, end-to-end translation lifecycle.
At the heart of the Stokke solution is Clay Tablet 2.0, operating as a SaaS application, and connected to the Sitecore CMS and Translated.net’s custom translation management system. This integration was quickly implemented by Sitecore partner Portalia and required minimal effort by the client and translation vendor.
Thousands of content assets were quickly and reliably moved between the CMS and the translation providers translation management system, reducing costs and allowing a speedy site launch. Going forward, all updates to the site will also be quickly transmitted through Clay Tablet 2.0 for translation, and automatically returned into the Sitecore CMS, driving translation project management costs down and accelerating the launch of new products and information into markets worldwide.
“This is the perfect example of how CT2.0 helps clients move large volumes of content quickly and reliably between systems, and helps them keep a multilingual site up to date easily,” commented Clay Tablet founder and CEO Robinson Kelly. “Stokkes’ ability to launch the site in record time is a testament to how CT2.0 helps speed translation processes.”
In addition to the successful launch, Clay Tablet Partner, Sitecore, has crafted an in-depth case study on the project, highlighting Sitecore's strong multilingual capabilities and Clay Tablet's contribution to the success of the project. The case study is available on Sitecore's website.
The project also highlights the powerful synergy between various Clay Tablet partners. While Sitecore introduced their partner, Portalia to Clay Tablet 2.0, CTT introduced Translation partner Translated.net to Stokke, completing the team and allowing a comprehensive solution that perfectly met Stokke’s goals.
Remarked Kelly, “We’re very pleased to have been introduced to the project by Sitecore and then be able to reciprocate by suggesting a suitable translation provider. Clay Tablet’s expansive partner network has over 30 members so we can create these end-to-end teams quickly, providing clients with all facets of the translation lifecycle. The partner solutions all work together, pivoting around CT2.0 as the connectivity hub. It’s exciting to know that through our partner network and market-leading technology, we can service clients so comprehensively.”
