Clay Tablet Signs VistaTEC Into Channel Partner Program

Toronto, Ontario, and Dublin, Ireland, April 16, 2007 — Prominent Language Service Provider VistaTEC and Clay Tablet Technologies, developer of innovative translation system middleware, are now pursuing joint opportunities.
Clay Tablet’s software lets companies automate the flow of text and documents between content management and translation systems. When translated content returns, it’s routed back to the correct destination. Capable of connecting any content storage system to any globalization system, Clay Tablet helps customers integrate and manage the diverse content storage and authoring systems that may be used across an organization – and simplify localization.
“Clay Tablet opens up additional ways for us to work with our customers,” said Phil Ritchie, CTO of VistaTEC. “Accessing and managing content in different customer systems, and across networks within a single customer, has always been difficult. Clay Tablet lets our customers manage their content at origin, and also helps us develop solutions to the challenges of translating secure data, and content in legacy systems.”
“We’re excited about working with VistaTEC,” said Robinson Kelly, CEO of Clay Tablet Technologies. “The company has pushed the limits of translation workflow, and shares our vision of making translation more efficient through better connectivity.”
VistaTEC has had a long-term partnership with globalization management system provider Idiom® Technologies and its WorldServer™ product, as well as considerable experience implementing translation workflow based on WorldServer and other tools.
VistaTEC and Clay Tablet’s new joint offering, in conjunction with WorldServer, provides a unique way for global customers to connect their content systems with translators for maximum efficiency and cost savings in the translation process.
